I have a little niece, 2 years old and she came very sick real suddenly.. very high fever 104.4 and dehydrated, vomiting and they can not figure out what is wrong with her do you think that she might have this or what? someone was telling us that thats what it sounded like i don’t know do you?

Anytime a child becomes violently ill in a short period of time there is definitely a need for concern, so I would speak with a healthcare provider. Some of the symptoms of meningitis include, but are not limited to, high fever, vomiting, headache, stiff neck and a rash. Meningococcal disease progresses very rapidly, so anyone that has the aforementioned symptoms is urged to seek medical attention immediately.
